  • It makes me mad that you can only find maybe 3 cds by her ( if you are lucky ) they should put more of her albums on CD

  • The same thing can be said with many classic country artists..ie Eddy Arnold, Connie Smith, Marty Robbins, Jeannie Pruett,etc...

  • Thanks Allen for these wonderful clips. I too am an enormous fan of Dottie, one of country's true Queens. I would be very interested in seeing whatever you've got. Do you happen to have any of her singing "Blue as I Want To" from the album Special Delivery?

  • Heard some major re-issue label is working on putting out all of her RCA, United Artists and Liberty albums as 2fers in a series of CD's (2 albums on 1 CD)

  • I never understand why people feel the need to qualify their liking a country song, by backing it up with "even though I usually hate Country Music", etc. Cant they just like a song without having to be hung up about the genre?

  • Dottie West was one hot cougar!

Seriously this artist is a joy listening to!

  • @LPettie No Dottie West and billy davis wrote this song in 1973, it started out as a jingle for a coke commercial, then it was released as a song and hit #2 on the country charts.
