@cesar4013 easy just take the power wire off your amp and put it to the new batt with a inline fuse then run a new wire from batt back to the amp and make sure u have a realy good ground and mounted thats about it there r other ways depending on how u plan on useing it

@EpikFaile With a 1000 watt amplifier all you really need is something like the SHURiKEN SK-BT60. You could also use the BT80 if you want extra power, or even the SK-BT100 at the most. All of those batteries would be excellent options as far as power goes.

1:56 doesn't solve the solution?

how do you install a second battery?
how many cranking amps do I need if i have 500 rms and want to hear music with my car turned off for about an hour??

@1Pueblito In that type of scenario, crank amps will not help. What you're looking for is a good rating of "amp hours" or simply AH. Power cells, like the Kinetik HC1400 usually have a higher amp hour rating than aftermarket dry cell batteries which usually have high crank amp ratings.
If you want to play your system with your vehicle off for a while without deep cycling your battery, you will want to pick up something like the HC1400, or the HC1800 by Kinetik.
