Easy Install of PCSX2 on Linux

This video demonstrates how to install PCSX2 on Linux. Please copy and paste the commands below to add the repository in ubuntu linux.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gregory-hainaut/pcsx2.official.ppa

sudo apt-get update

Install using synaptic package manager or ubuntu software center.

hi, im using ubuntu 11.10 32-bit and it works. I went through the set up and bios easily, however when I open the pcsx2 I cant find anything to click on to load the games. it doesnt even show the edit and configuring options. can anyone help. Please!!

@timjrock Sounds like you are using the unity desktop. Just move the mouse over on the top panel to see the menu options.

y aint it workin for me? i have ubuntu 11.04 and pcsx 2 0.9.8 i get shader errors when i try to run the game

@Mii2626 The ppa key is only for ubuntu 10.10. If want to install on 11.04 you must compile from source. Remember that pcsx2 is only for 32-bit systems there no official release for 64-bit systems.
