Kimber Report Part 1/5 - Kimber Custom II TLE/RL

This is a "First Impressions" video, not a review of the Kimber TLE/RL. I hope to follow up later with a more in depth review of the pistol after its been through it's break in period. I added VZ Grips (the "Alien" variety) and I'm exceptionally happy with them. Also used two Wilson Combat 8 rd. (model 47DAB) magazines, along with the one Kimber mag that comes with the pistol.

What type ammo do you use. I shot 350 rounds throuh my new Kimber CDP11 full size and had about 15 failure to feed using fiocchi 230 grain bullets fed through the one Kimber tac mag and two Wilson combats. Any suggestion please reply. Thank you.

I did not have any problems with FTF with the Kimber mag. Bought (4) Chip McKormick (10) round mags. Very satisfied.

I have this one with the Meprolight sights. Bought it in 2008 for $880.00. Put a lasermax laser on it.

i own 3 kimber's the break in and failure to feed crap is usually due to kimber frame to slide fit being extremely tight and also their recoil spring is very very stiff once it breaks in it will be a matter of a few hundred rounds your gun will be a pleasure to shoot also be warned that once you start getting near the 1500 to 2500 round mark your gonna most likely have to replace the recoil spring because it will begin to stove pipe all 3 of mine did it (buy a wilson combat recoil spring!!!)
