Changing your Video Thumbnail: Are these REALLY my only options?!?

Am i the only one upset by youtube offering the worst screen shots from my vid as video thumbnails? lol... HORRID, i tell ya... Is there any other way to choose a different still?

I bet you ANY money that you have to be a YouTube partner to pick whichever thumbnail you want for your videos

All you have to do is figure out when it picks the thumbnails and place the picture you want as the thumbnail in your video at that point in time

I totally agree, that is probabaly the dumbest most rediculous part of You Tube! it also determins how many views your video gets, if the thumbnail is not clear or does'nt look interesting people are not gonna click on it! So You Tube really needs to change it so you can pick any frame from ur vidoes!

Just found out how to change the thumb nail but it's kind of hard to fix. If you want a good thumbnail you need to choose how long the video is going to be so you know where the thumbnails are gonna show up. My first video was 10:35 minutes long and I got one of my thumbnails at 4:41 Well if your video is for example: 2:00 minutes, it's easier to be sure where it's gonna show up. At 2 mins it would be at 1:00. Not 100% though. Sometimes it's not at the middle so you'll have to see for yourself.
