ITS NOT CRAOLINE caroline looks different thats cave johnsons wife not caroline caroline is still a mystery (look i may be wrong but this is my theory) i mean, i have a lot to say how there is acually gonna be a portal 3, BUT its not gonna be called portal 3 but in this new portal it SHOULD have caroline and all the people back in the OLD APERATURE SCIENCE and you could be or maybe a different person, but maybe chell got tested but was too good and had to put her back, anyway this is just theory

@Dr5269 Caroline is not Chells mother. Cave was even married to Michele Johnson. Or somebody with a similar name. I can't remember the name exactly. Chells parents are unknown.

@smorizen No. Caroline is GLaDOS in theory (never confirmed, but there is strong evidence of this), but there is nothing actually even hinting at Caroline and Cave being Chell's parents (or proof of any real relationship other than Cave's crush) anywhere in either game whatsoever. At all. GLaDOS could be based on Caroline, yes, but she is still a computer program. Also, Chell could have just been there when the "bring your daughter to work day" fiasco came about, but there were other scientists.
