yes, this does work very well, and has some very nice features...BUT, the video took 7+ minutes!!! Even saying it takes 20% less time due to not having to 'show' how it al works, that's still 5+ mins just to DOCUMENT the visit, not counting the actual time to 'visit' with the patient, etc! That's the inherent problem with most EMR/EHR systems, none are really built to expedite the process or make it easier for the MD.
For the iPad, why not look into an iPad-native program to begin with?
I've never seen eclinicalWorks, or Dragon for that matter, work as well as in this video, using laptops with much better specs than an iPad.
The user in the video never edits his note, which in ECW, which is so dependent on data entry fields, is a nightmare.
The narrator is in a completely silent room, in my experience, Dragon will pick up and attempt to translate all sorts of background noise. It struggles with proper nouns (names of meds, names of people/places).
I am in testing of an ipad with eCW and I have been able to get connected to my work laptop through RDP. I was curious to find out which RDP client you are using? Also, how did you get it configured to pop-up the small number pad on the vitals screen and the handwriting recognition?
This is an ap which can be very useful to the doctor who is uncomfortable utlizing the computer mounted on the wall. By utlizing the IPAD with the dragon or writing, makes this ideal.

What app are you using? iTap RDP? Are you doing screen shots via an app to your server? Or maybe jail broken?
