Led by the local Salvation Army Band, the parade marches past the Civic Centre on Remembrance Day, Sunday 9th November 2008, at Consett in County Durham. For more vids by Chris Foote-Wood, see www.piercraw.info and www.writersinc.biz
oh my god i did this if you watch it when the army cadets come in im in the second row back in the middle ahahahahaha n one ov me amtes is in the back looking like a dope in his blue jacket (quite short) haha omg this was a canny great day like (sounds weird but not meant how it sounds) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx cant wait for this years xxxxxxxx
Thanks for the explanation Reece. You see I wasn't aware of that, nor would many of the onlookers. As I said Remembrance Day does have those military connotations. The important thing at the end of the day is that it was a great witness, and the band did themselves proud..
i would just like to say its not any salvation army bandsmen that have forgotten to wear head gear what it is consett salvation army band joins with consett Brass which dont wear head gear. so its not consett salvation army bands men that are not in full uniform
Good to see Consett SA so well represented with a good performance by the BAND. - It's a pity on such a military occasion that some bandsmen appear to have forgotten to wear their head gear.
