  • We need a new rule for congress. If congress votes to go to war then by draw of the hat 20% of them have to go to front line units and fight.

  • Whether i was ever incombat,is not the point. Served but never went to combat, however everyone i know in Irq tell me not to believe the bs they hear from home.Ultimately the pres has used the oppotunity to do good, and made it about profits and control. The president is not alone, he has a lot of help from his socalled political opponents, they too benefit from the debate, and the chaos. They allowed Bush to get away with so many crimes

  • "I have no problem with war" ?I supposed you have actually fought in a war or lost a limb or went crazy from the psychological trauma of what you had to experience and do? I have a problem with war anytime we are not fighting to protect our country from immediate and imminent danger. The troops should come home and help fight the Real enemy. Put army gear on the Politician's and let them murder, torture and molest ppl and stop making young american men be victims of this atrocity.

  • I have no problem with war, I havea problem with waging war simply to make money. We should have withdrawn from Iraq in 2005.But Bush needed to make his cash with his contractors. Thats why we are still there. My opinon

  • Couldn't have said it better. However he will continue what Bush started. He's just another War puppet.

  • @ferrozm: Conservatives don't like McCain, but what can they do? There are many good Republicans and good Democrats out there and they see how the game is played and they want no part of it. Why argue about patriotism. I think we are all patriots. Bush vetoes every bill that is submitted. Bush is not a compromise.

  • @hamace: Why do you spend your time watching Obama? Do you watch Hillery too? For your information I don't watch either unless snippets are put in front of my eyes. I suppose you know who I'll be voting for. You should. You know everything else. Clinton changed the welfare system. He made it smaller and required the applicants to follow new stringent rules making it more difficult to receive welfare. Just prior to the President leaving office, our national debt was zero.

  • We have not met,tis medium is not a get together. But Hey, thanks for pointing out the obvious. From the comments youve posted I figured you were from Fantasy Land.Next u send me a message, have a point!

  • @hanace: Boy am I glad that I met you. I'm beginng to think that you are a fraud. One assumption after anpother and one opinion after another.

  • I don't support McCain so that was a useless statement. I agree with you that politicians shouldn't defy the people, but you make it seem like it is only conservatives who bunk the will of their constituents, the democrats, the progressives are just as respnsible, they promised to get us out of the war in 2006 when they won the majority but did they do it NO. Besides most of those those called conservatives dont act like conservatives they act like liberals. Ron Paul is the only conservative.
