Michael James hosts this weeks edition of Live From the Heartland. We will be joined by Mark Kastel of the Cornucopia Institute (Cornucopia.org), a progressive farm policy research group that acts as the country's most aggresive organic industry watch dog. And we'll be joined by Matthew Filipowicz, a Huffington Post blogger, cartoonist, and organizer of the Netroots Nation Salon. And another Huffington Post writer, author Jeff Biggers (In the Sierra Madre, and The United States of Appalachia: How Southern Mountaineers Brought Independence, Culture, and Enlightenment to America) will join us to talk about his forthcoming book on coal in the heartland, and the first 100 days of coal in the Obama administration.
