Exploring Islam brings to you a special talk on the life & death of the 3rd Caliph of Islam; Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him). The only man who had the honour of marrying two daughters of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.), one after the other. He was one of the most generous of men and however much Allah gave him, he was more than happy to spend it all for the sake of Allah.

"The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to whom He pleases. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower." (Qur'an 2:261)
