SHOTOKAN at Staten Island - New York

These short clips are from a television programme that was aired in 2006. It features the WTKO's Staten Island dojo of 7th Dan John Mullin, and the focus of the programme was to show the benefits of Shotokan training for all ages. The original TV broadcast was 30 minutes in duration, so these clips are just highlights.

At the 7 minute mark they show some slow mo punching. You can see the fists moving into the chest and then snapping out. It makes it something between a punch and hammer fist.

Punching along the correct path is something I've struggled with as well.
