L.A. Rams at GB. Opening day of the 1993 NFL season. Packers won this game 36-6 and went on to play (and lose) in the NFC divisional playoff game that year.

I found this when I was copying old home movies to DVD a couple years ago. I was notorious for copying over stuff with my camcorder, but this somehow survived. I know it's totally different for me to put a football video on Youtube, but this is pretty fun. Not only to see Favre back then, but there are also some pretty funny commercials.

  • @allstarchris1 It was actually 5 at Lambeau and 3 at County Stadium. You're right, they usually didn't get the opener but sometimes they did.

  • Did you ever think when you saw this originally in 1993 that both James Campen and Edgar Bennett would become Packers coaches?

  • @allstarchris1 THats the only logical reason.

  • @jimmylegs06 cause let say you live in New York and your a Packer fan you're not going to see the Packers every week.

  • I know that County Stadium hosted 2 Packer games a year, I'm just wondering why they hosted a opening day game, I thought they would have let Lambeau Field have the opening day games,

  • 2 games on fox, 2 games on CBS, 1 game on NBC, 1 game on ESPN (monday night), NFL network updates and recaps and NFL Live on ESPN. Why do people fork out $400 for NFL ticket?

  • @ycdtotv

I did subscribe, actually. I recall that the cost was $99 a season. Now I'm pinching pennies to come up with the dough to keep it going (ha).

  • @7747jc Too bad you didn't wait until 1994, you could have been among NFL Sunday Ticket's first subscribers

  • I laid out big bucks for a satellite dish earlier that year, just so I could watch all my L.A. Rams games from East Tennessee. Suffice it to say, things got off to a very rough start. Things have gone from not having to pay for games on satellite to $330 a year. Typical, greedy NFL. I still have that big dish, which is good for some preseason games.

  • I love the old school commercials haha
