It was really cool when Cecil became a paladin. And like an excited idiot I went "Wow I can finally see his hair color!"
I like the theme for IV a lot, too, and FFX.
FFIV, FF7, FF8, and FFX are the ones I like the most. Granted I haven't played most of the other ones but still I think those are my favorites, and FFIV is the one I'm playing now and like the most.

Tell me, what's so great compared to the storyline of FF7 versus VI? FF6 has way more depth to each character and it has even a much wider cast, better storyline. Talking about twist, you expect a bad guy to win and destroy the world? That happened in FF6. Music is way more amazing as well.
Limit breaks lol. Try FF6 which all characters has special abilities and learn spells through espers which is where your "materia" idea is pwned off of.
Face it, you don't know what you're talking about.

You mean most overrated. FFVI's story and gameplay beats 7 by a lightyear. I am sorry that you missed out on the Final Fantasy games that depended on story instead of graphics and fan service.
