Sure, churches always preach about tithing, but they don't record how much you give, etc, and then kick you out of the church if you don't give enough or even at all.

Didn't Jason Beghe say that David Miscavige canceled these "six month checks" that OT VII's were required to have, saying it was a "mistake"?

So, this couple was right all along, and look at how their church treated them.

@ToryMagoo44 I *think* I understand, though I've never been a Scientologist. Is it something like a Christian church creating mandated guidelines that the congregation should follow, then a parishioner pointing out that the Bible states the exact opposite, then being harassed and marginalized for it?

The jargon is a bit hard to follow, but I can forgive them for using it, being such a big part of their lives for such a long time.
