this is a movie kid. The hell Iraqis go through on a daily basis are a millionfold worse. They face it from both sides. Innocent people are killed at times of war this is called collateral damage. We call it that. We actually have a name for it.
The enemy take people from their homes at gunpoint and have them run across a line of fire they know are aiming down the field. They use them as bait to get shot by our soldiers. It isn't just our side killing innocent people.
I feel you I would protect my home and family from any invading force and smite them with utmost ferocity. Which is why this war is only winnable by dropping a WMD on top of the middle East and wiping the whole sodding nightmare off the face of the earth.
@paintersmurfs Thank you. Sure there are some ignorant Americans, but remember it would be ignorant to categorize "all" Americans as ignorant. There will always be some rotten apples that will ruin it for the rest of us. That goes for EVERY country in the world. We are not perfect. No one is. We are all humans and as humans we will make mistakes. By the way Canadians kick ass! I had the pleasure to meet some of your best men and women serving overseas while I was deployed. =)
@paintersmurfs The war of 1812 ended in a stalemate and it was between the British and the Americans (NOT Canadians) Yes, it started in Canada. Neither side gained or lost territory. It was an expensive war and so in 1814 the treaty of Ghent which established the status quo ante bellum and was signed in Belgium. News traveled slow so in 1815 Andrew Jackson and his army whooped the British asses in the Battle of New Orleans!
Hey yanks, come on up to Canada tell me your coming to "liberate me" so i can become a terrorist (freedom fighter) too! god damn that movie was some classic grade 7 educated Americanism right there. Oh! yeah the war of 1812! Where Canadians came down, burnt half your white house to the ground and then got drunk and bored and came home! the first 'terrorists"! Oh, they dont teach you that do they....
@chillibeans22 Dude I was in Iraq for 2 tours Afghanistan for 1 Bosinia, Somalia, Vietnam, Korea, IwoJima, Normandy, The somme, Verdun, Gettysburg, Yorktown little Bighorn the lot......I've been killing terrorists since your great great grandfather was a small boy.
