  • I´ve just ordered ´ Roadcraft ´ ( also a good english -spanish dictionary ) . Any suggestion or advice about this book ?.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards.

    Javier.

  • Read Roadcraft with an open mind. If you can master the workings of the 'system', then everything else falls into place,

    Good Luck

    Nigel

  • Very good instructional video!!

Do you know of a relatively nice 125cc first bike? I've applied for my cbt, and am now looking for a 125cc bike, any suggestions with a reason will be great.

  • Thanks for the feedback.

125's big choice, types and most important prices. The Motorcycle Show is coming up at the NEC at the end of the month. May be worth a visit.

What do you fancy, Trail type, or normal street bike ?

  • Thanks again AdvancedBiker. Just a suggestion - would it be possible to either verbally or on screen mention the road speeds involved, and (less useful) but also the gears?

    Cheers

    Jim

  • Hello Jim

You are not the first to ask this, so your wish is my command. Leave it with me...

    Regards

    Nigel

  • I wheeled my 105mph Suzuki 250R through my front gate on the morning of my 16th birthday.

No training and I'm still here enjoying my biking 39 years later.

I fully realize that you are only trying to help learners but this is namby pamby, over the top, PC crap.

  • @mjiow twist of the wrist 2 bt keith code..

  • These are really helpful videos, i ride a cbf125 and want to take my bike test, but i have been stumbled by an oil slick last sunday, some one hit me, and i came off on a wet drain cover, all over the space between septemebr and now. i am getting more confident, but wondered if you have any videos that may help me at all? or know of anyways of imroving skills and controlling skids on roundabouts on diesel? if its possible. many thanks

  • Hello Nigel , thanks a lot for all this invaluable videos / information . I guess you would like Asturias ( north of Spain ) for we have a lot of bends and wonderful landscapes to ride .

When i´ll improve my english i´ll would like to take a course in UK .

I wish you all the best .

    Javier.

  • Thanks for posting the vids. I was trying to follow the lines through the corners. I understand the looking ahead and planing for the next corner. I liked the throttle and speed control. However I could not pick up what line the rider was choosing on some of the bends it just seemed to be middle of the lane and following the curve.

  • street bike, I'll take a look at the bike show.
