so my skating competition was interesting: almost getting lost a few times, almost getting backed into, birds on the ice, a piece of the ceiling falling off during my program, people supposed to be at 2 places at once, you know the usual lol it was rly unorganized and ran like an hour late but i came in 4th YAY! and overall we came in 1st!!!! we won by like 20 pts it was awesome!!!!! ok story:
Devon's P.O.V.
"Are you ready to go home?" Joe asked me. Today was our last day in Europe and we would be flying back to Connecticut the next day.
"No," I replied. "Going home means going back to school and I don't want to go back to school, although it will be nice to see everyone again, but I don't want to do the work. Plus I wont get to see you as much," I explained.
"You could always transfer to UCLA or something like that," Joe said.
"I don't think so, I like Boston, plus you'll probably go on tour anyways," I said.
"We should go out to eat to celebrate our last night in Europe," Sam said.
"That's a great idea," Kevin said kissing her.
"Dude, there's people still in the room," Joe said.
"You're such a hypocrite. You and Devon make out in front of us all the time," Kevin said.
"So?" I replied and Kevin just rolled his eyes.
We finally pulled up to the restaurant, who knew it would take so long to decide on a restaurant. The food was amazing. We were all talking and laughing and just having a good time.
"I can't believe were leaving tomorrow," Namra said. "I'm gonna miss you guys."
"Well, you'll just have to come visit," Sara said.
We got up early the next morning to catch our flight. We had a 5 hour flight to London, where Namra would get off, and then the 13 hour flight to Connecticut. We had decided that everyone would stay with me for a week and then we would go to L.A. with the guys for a week and then we would head off to school for a long 8 months of school and short visits. It was going to be so much harder this year being away from Joe since we had just spent the last 2 1/2 months together 24/7.
We talked the whole way to London and said our goodbyes to Namra. Once the plane took off again we all fell asleep exhausted. We got off the plane and I saw my parents standing there waiting for us. I ran up to them gave them both hugs.
"I've missed you," I said.
"I hope you had fun," my mom said.
"But not too much fun," my dad added and I just laughed. My dad and I were really close. I introduced them to Amanda and we all crammed into my parents van, it was a tight fit, but somehow we managed, and squeezed all our luggage into the trunk. Let's just say my mom couldn't see out the back window.
"So can we go to this deli you guys are always talking about?" Amanda asked on the way home.
"Of course! I can't believe I forgot! Now I know I've been gone too long," I said laughing.
We went to the deli and enjoyed our food and then decided to head over to the bowling alley. The manager remembered us from the last time we were there and seemed a bit annoyed that we were there.
"You're back," the manager said to us.
"Uh, yeah?" I said.
"Fine, two game limit and no yelling," he told us.
"Jeez, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," Amanda said as we headed to our lane.
We quickly finished our two games and I didn't think that we were too loud, but that didn't stop the manager from glaring at us as we walked out and headed to my house.
"Why do they have to stay here?" my brother complained as we walked into the house.
"I missed you too," I said sarcastically rolling my eyes.
"Whatever. I'm going to the movies," my brother said as he left.
"Ugh, he's so annoying," I said. There were rare moments when he wasn't.
"What brothers aren't?" Kevin asked.
"Hey!" Joe and Nick said and we all just laughed.
