This is what happens when you run in a developing country though Athens was the place that started this Marathon event.

Host (Athens) of the event should have protected the runners. Runners must concentrate and stay focus, not look out for incoming cars and trolleys. This accident could have been fatal. Such an event to a runner can easily become a mental career ender. Feel sorry for the guy.

@madmotorman You obviously have never been in the zone. A true competative runner doesn't concentrate on anything other than running and their body. Their not site seeing, checking out chicks, or wondering if the Raiders are gonna make it to the SuperBowl. I believe that an overall consensus would agree with me.
