  • I heard that Kabuto, the first boss shoots fireballs, shrinks when he gets looses his health for the first time, and has a cheerful face. Doesn't that character remind you of Mario? He's shrinks when he gets hurt, he shoots fireballs and he has a happy face. Because of this, Kabuto was going to be named Mari-Oh but they took it out. I saw that at Wikipedia! Check it out for yourself!

  • Yes it does appear to be true, in fact i've seen a picture scanned from a gaming mag around this time with reflects your statement.

This is probablys the only alex kidd game where Alex isn't heaven bound instantly after touching an enemy.

  • Make an Alex Kidd in Sonic World!

  • Well I'll be.....I heard this game existed, but I thought my friend was just makin' it up! This is the first time I've seen this and it looks cool! I guess I owe my friend a beer....

  • I used to clock this daily as a kid

nnever got bored of it :)

  • reall? i think i liked Alex Kidd in miracle world..now that was an awesome game but really hard. i loved it you should compare them. this one is obviously more advanced but hmm. =]

  • What an amazing game. It was really easy to finish, though - but that didn't stop me from playing it over and over again. The music is much improved from the original Shinobi track.
