I want this video on my W160 unit.

@1126robert Appropriate bridge material (non self abrasive) and regular gear inspection combined with good work practices (i.e. proper work positioning) and due care while operating saws... all go a very long way in preventing bridge failure.

I love this concept and i want one, but if you have it attached to the bridge and both lines are attached and the bridge fails can end up not so good! I wonder if a new bridge can be added maybe in new saddles!

Big waste of money, just buy the components, get a cheaper pulley like the Petzl Oscillante and some cheap friction cord, use a length of old climbing line for the lanyard and you're away, this is way to expensive for what you get. Even building the lanyard and buying the thimble would be cheaper.

@feixjones I appreciate your comment and it's true that you could build a similar lanyard for less money, but it would not be as functional. The PINTO pulley provides a useful, rated becket. Keep in mind that CElanyard contains 5 sewn terminations. Sewn eyes are far smaller than knots, and retain more usable rope than do splices. And last but not least CElanyard is a Certified system. If you work where certification/standardization are requirements, building your own may not be an option.

@westernclimber Great! Thank you for the comment. Currently available lengths are 3,4,5,7,and 10 meters. 5m~16ft, 7m~22ft.

That was a very good review of the CElanyard. Do you know what size pinto pulley they used in the system and what diameter friction cord it is? I've put together something similar with 11 mm rope, the small pinto pulley and an 8 mm friction cord but it never worked that well. The problem was that the pulley was angled upward and that squished the lanyard rope between the pulley and friction cord in the carabiner.

@tombil77 Thanks for the comment! The small PINTO pulley is the platform of the CElanyard. 11mm Sirius is the lanyard material. 8mm Ocean Polyester is used as the main hitch cord. 6mm Ocean Vectran is used for the small prusik with stainless thimble. The eyes of the 8mm OP in use with CElanyard have a longer circumference than that of the standard carabiner eyes on most sewn or spliced cordage. This keeps the sewn area of the cord away from the cheek plates and sheave.
