This is a demo I did for the types of flow/meditative style hooping I will be teaching at the upcoming classes at Kira's Oasis. It is all blindfolded, and most of it is sustained stalling.

  • so what kind of advice do you have for not getting completely dizzy? I could probably do two or three turns blindfolded before I fell down.

  • Personally, how I got to be able to spin lots with a blindfold, is that I spun lots without one, til I could spin for a REAALLLY long time (much longer than the video). The blindfold doesn't make it too much harder. It would be like if someone asked you to walk blindfolded. Even though tou don't normally walk that way, it wouldn't be too hard cuz you walk so often un-blindfolded anyways!

  • Interesting dance style. I saw this once before with a girl in a really looooong dress. How comes you're doing that in a blindfold? I'd be scared of going into a wall...

  • Thanks everyone!

I am doing it in a blindfold, to demonstrate the types of meditative hooping which I will be teaching in an upcoming class. Blindfold hooping is one of those styles.

  • AMAZING, NATASHA!!! Many thanks for posting!

  • Love it, plus the music, haven't heard Man Man in forever.

  • Hi Natasha, your vids have helped me like you wouldn't believe. I couldn't have managed chest hooping without you! But I get very very dizzy when hooping, I do like to spin, it looks so nice, but can't for more than 2 turns. What can I do? I've tried spotting but I can't get the hang of it. Any tips?

  • aaaaamazing hoopdance. Very very beautiful!

  • A very nice take on the sustained stalling. Really good presentation of it. Very graceful too.
