  • was done ages ago as a cheapie. has been handed on to someone to use, but celeron was OK at the time..

  • It doesnt have the Apple internals anyway - but yep the Celeron 533 is pretty slow anyway... good for a Linux router/AP in the corner :)

  • yeah the joke was that i side-graded it :) Was just one day when I realised i had a dead G3 and a (running) celeron doing routing duties under the sofa, so why not combine! Plus this was a while back when I actually did the mod - maybe 2005?

    But yeah, G3 vs celeron 500 - not sure which would win, pretty even Id expect.

  • that is the iMac that is all-in-one. This is the desktop style with external monitor.
