This role is for him, he is this character! I've rarely witnessed such a perfect interpret/role union! I love his voice but his acting is mindblowing! Does anybody know where can I find this show in DVD? I need to have it.

Hallo Rahela83. It is taken from the DVD which was recorded at the Opera Bastille of Paris in 2002.

I think they are still playing it there, but probably with another singer.

I agree with you that he is great. The Hoffmann is one of his or his favourite role(s). He also sung Hoffmann at the Salzburg Festival.
