what clues are we given to choose one path over another or is it pointless?

When branch choices come up one side has a happy face and one has a mean face. This is meant to imply one choice will lead to a more difficult path (always picking the right side of the screen).

Picking the harder path involves flying in different direction which takes a bit of getting used to but helps keep things fresh and tasty.

(There's also secrets this way.)

But the choice is there, so you don't have to pick the unusual flying direction if you don't want to.

my advice would be to link to the xbox store in the video or the sidebar, so people can find where to buy the game. i had to struggle to look for the game to find out how to buy it :)
