  • If you are going to turn steel I would slow it down a lot. Maybe consider a DC motor and speed controller. Any way more power to you on your project. Enjoy, but be safe.

  • Pretty cool! if you are interested you should go to Linsay technical books online and look at the Dave Gingery homemade machine shop books. They have helped me.
