One day I went in search of some information on one of Italy's most revered footballers, the late great Gaetano Scirea and came across a tribute video with the soundtrack of Il Mio Canto Libero and immediately fell in love with the song. That's how I discovered the unbelievable talent that was Lucio Battisti. If I was Italian I would be so proud to be able to hold this music up to the world. This is my favourite song of his - so far! Lucio forever. An Irish fan.

sorry for interferring guys..but... since the beginning of man beaty and poetry can be expressed throughout an entire comedy or tragedy or.. ermetismo... m'illumino d'immen

so.. so for beethoven and rachmaninov and chopin repeating phrases was part of a constant evolving improvisation.. only today the sonatas stick to a rigid "script"..

..... confusione, la canzone della terra, umanamente uomo, canto brasileiro, straniero are amongst the long work from the late 60s to the 80s...

p.s. i don't like football even as being italian living in the uk BUT when i was a child i fell in love with pele'... it was after hids retiremente but in italy very often he was on with his magic tricks, then schillaci and then george best which i know from an italian comedian who has hom in the heart...

-/D tx so much mate... who knows is work well love while loving metal and african percussion or hard rock this is what i love.. he has worked a lot on experimenting with drumss elctronic working on very particular lines for the bass guitar along with lyrics which he wrote together with a very importan italian author but yet the footprint of those visual tripping lyrics is fully from battisti...
