This is an experiment with layering various guitar tones using the looping machine. The synth part in the middle reminds me of good old C-64 games and that's why it is called "8-bit Mayhem". Enjoy!

I'm using the following gear:
Fender Stratocaster Jeff Beck (various pickup positions and volume settings)
Elixir Strings (10-52)
JetSlide
BYOC Large Beaver
Electro-Harmonix HOG
Eventide Timefactor (used as a looper)
MG 5W custom tube amp (preamp and main amp)
Line6 Tone Port (speaker and mic sim)

  • i love you man!

  • @Haravec Serious confession. ;) Thx and take care!

  • Cool!.. u build this up really nice! .. ending with powering up a lightsabre at 3:35 :D

  • @kurtcomet Thanks! It took me a while to come up with an ending dramatic enough. This "HOG" thing is really nice - complete laser and plasma war gear in one box. But it's about 1% percent of it. Rest is junk. You play with the knobs and keep saying - "oh, god, what a kitsch" and suddenly - "whoah! A lightsaber!". :)

  • Pure awesomeness!

  • @mrcruster Wow, thanks! Glad to hear that!
