  • stay away from "nlp for dummies". its poorly written, very hard to follow, and incredibly uninformative. damned difficult read, and an absolute waste of time and money. (its an expensive book if you buy it new)

  • I got "nlp for dummies" a while back. Its pretty informative.

  • Heart of the Mind by Steve and Connierae Andreas is good also, the advantage is that they teach without a log of NLP jargon, which can be offputting to beginners. Also the edited book: NLP: The New Technology of Achievement is another good start.
