The current device I am using to demonstrate the calibration to you is the HTC Desire. You may think this video is pointless however it is a very common issue amongst many HTC owners. The calibration instructions on the phone "Please place the phone on a level surface" is not clear and precise enough. You do not calibrate the phone on its side, whether it would be horizontal or vertically upright, the correct way is to calibrate it on its back, with the back of the phone being parallel with the level surface and touching and resting the phone on the level surface.

Not calibrating the phone correctly will mess with the auto-rotate function if it is enabled and therefore the internet browser or other auto-rotate supporting functions and applications will not work. Watch this video and see my instructions on how to do it correctly.

I had a problem with the auto-rotate myself and sort to blame it on being given a faulty device like many others who experienced the same problem however this was not the problem.
PLEASE LIKE AND THUMBS UP IF IT WORKED!! THANK YOU :)
