A short video tutorial on how I like to set the preferences for importing image sequences into Final Cut Pro. More at timelapsehq.com.

I wanted to produce this short clip on importing images into Final Cut Pro. I have found that the default duration for images to be too lengthy when it comes to creating smooth time-lapse sequences.

So here is a short tip on changing the default duration so you have a smoother base to start from when post processing your time-lapse footage.

  • You will have to batch rename your

Images. Or rename them when you batch crop the images to 1920x1080. I use Aputure to batch crop and it Allows you to name them correctly in sequence.

  • I have Final cut pro X, any tips to bypass the quicktime fiasco would be most appreciated.

  • @MastrBlastr318 OK then head on over to here youtube.com/watch?v=3X-f-VyuKvI

  • @MastrBlastr318 I just posted a video response with my Final Cut X tips, or go here youtube.com/watch?v=3X-f-VyuKvI

  • my main problem is with creating the sequence...everything I have read has pointed me to quicktime 7...quicktime 7 does not render any of the photos in the sequence, what should I do?

  • @MastrBlastr318 I have tips on both Final Cut Pro and Final Cut X on rendering sequences. For the budget minded I can recommend Final Cut X.
