Just wanted to let y'all know, he totally told the crowd who's the boss in Houston 2 nights later. After he performed this song, during which everyone was talking. He told the people who were talking to shut the f*ck up and if they couldn't respect the music and musicians on the stage to get the f*ck out. It was amazing.

Just for clarification... Gavin has performed in Canada.  I saw him at the old Opera House in Toronto a few years ago. Put on a great show, quite intimate.

He done it in Knoxville as well. During this song, he stopped the performance and said something like, "You paid to come to watch me. If you aren't going to, then you might as well leave." And then he started the whole song over again.

I was so glad he did, because people were just disrespectful. They shut up after he said that, though. ;)

yah that vancouver show has a sore spot with me. im originally from the maritimes and had a business trip to go to in vancouver. I found out the day i got home that he was there on my last night in vancouver. I totally would have skipped out on the work stuff to see that show and dealt with the consequences with a smile on my face. Shitty that the crowd had to be like that though. Probably why he wont come back to canada lol

he came to vancouver last year.... i loved it, but hated everybody in the audience. it was at the commodore, so everyone cept me was drunk and yelling stuff like "you're hot" and "take off your shirt" and stuff during ballads.

Man! im so glad he did that! It bothers me that Gavin hasnt come close to Canada yet but these people who can catch his shows would be more interested in talking rather than being in awe.. as i would be :)
