@17MJG93 That's true man, but even beyond that... Look up hockey fights and see how many really do take their helmets off man... not too many, and visor or not most tend to look away while gettin punched in the HELMET : ) ... I do gotta say I watched the vid of Cal where he took his off after the fight like he was a badass, that shit was fuckin lame... but the dude's still one of my fav players just because he's physical n not afraid to fight when its time...

@DrunkenDragon58104 I played competetive hockey for years, and got in a lot of fights, and trust me, you have time to take your bucket off... you're right that a lot of fights don't happen right off the faceoff, but even still, it's rare that one guy is oblivious to the fact that he's about to be involved in a fight. Besides, the main reason that players aren't seen taking off their helmets before the fights you're watching is that most players who fight in the NHL don't wear visors anyways.

@DrunkenDragon58104 there's a difference between having no time to take your bucket off and just plain not doing it. Most times even when it happens fast players will take a second to get there buckets off if they have visors on. He never does

@17MJG93 How many other players u see that take their helmets off? Not too many... They just hate him cuz he's Cal Buttercup lol... He's not really a fighter, he's just an all around hockey player.. People get pissed cuz he puts the hits on them, n then bitch because he doesn't drop his helmet in time.. C'mon, this ain't some karate bullshit where u bow to your opponent, you just go at it, and it happens pretty fast 90% of the time. Unless its planned between the players, there's no time

@DrunkenDragon58104 I don't think people give him a hard time cuz of that, I think it's cuz he doesn't take his helmet/visor off when he fights. Idno though I'm not from Minnesota, I could be wrong
