"Big Red" or just "Red" is a great riding horse for that anyone can hop on and enjoy. He's very easy and happy to work and a quick leaner. Red is well broke and a 4 on the temperament scale (1 being dead quiet and 10 being hot) Red can probably do anything; he could make a fun dressage horse, trail horse, and would really excel at reining. He has a very good "woah." He's built like a tank and has the power to match. He has a very soft mouth so it doesn't take much to ride this horse. He was born and raised on a big open ranch so he is still learning how to be in a stall and stand quietly however he was recently moved to a small facility in Austin and in only three weeks he's come a very very long way with consistent handling. Red is a willing horse that really wants to please. He trailers and is barefoot on all four feet. He's a registered quarter horse and has lovely gaits and the ability to lengthen and shorten his step for his riders preference. This horse has fantastic bloodlines and with a little more on ground training could really make a super all around horse. His price is negotiable to the right home.
