I was and still am WSQ. I'm going to the course to be an instructor and hopefully an instructor trainer soon.

i had one Marine make WSQ in one of my squads. class 2 was the highest i ever made it.

Excellent. I agree with the young Sgt., all Marines should do this training. In the 70s, I was a Water Survival Qualified Marine. Back then, less than, less then 1/2 of 1 % of Marines were WSQ. This training would significantly increase survival rates. Great video.
