Student high altitude research pilot in pressure and mobility tests of pressure equipment.
Pressure suit is the USAF MC-4A full-body bladder model with integral pressurised boots and gloves. The inner rubber bladder encloses the wearer's whole body from feet to neck. This model is fitted with a neckseal and helmet connection ring to accomodate a full-pressure type helmet.
The helmet is the USAF North American MA-5B full-pressure space helmet for use in absolute vacuum at extreme altitude.
Inside the helmet, the pilot's head is enclosed in a heavy rubber full-head inflatable pressure unit. The inner helmet has large rubber earphones mounted inside, inflatable anti-G bladders, and an integral faceseal and breathing mask. The mask contains the helmet microphone and has pressure equalising valves. The inner rubber unit is sealed with an inflatable, pressure retaining neckseal bladder.
The breathing gas, pressurisation and communication hoses and leads enter the rear of the helmet through sealed ports. The helmet provides constant pressurisation and high pressure oxygen to the pilot's head and face and is equalised with the suit pressures.

As the pressure helmet is completely airtight when it's closed, if you disconnect the oxygen supply you eventually run out of breathing gas and suffocate.
