Accidentally taped, this is the only portion I have of Guiding Light. It was only taped because it aired right after As the World Turns.

I was born in 81, but I remember watching GL with my mother in the mid 80's. I kept on watching it up until around 97 or 98 during school breaks and summer.

@kwvtads Ah, I know how hard that can be. I have hundreds of tapes myself. I'm still trying to find material that I first came across in 2003.

@sneezyize I think JFP did a fair amount to keep Ed as a central character, through his relationships with Holly and then Eve...although I really loved Maureen and I think killing her off was a death blow to the show.

Supposedly Peter Simon refused a romance w/Nola after her return, so that may have affected his airtime. I don't know.
