1st to 2nd chorus by Joshua in key of F. Hah.

@walsh93jazz chris potter would destroy them both! but that would be sick

Just phenomenal, completely amazing anybody who says this is lacking musicality does not understand how each of these techniques could be implemented in a normal piece, and shown all in one setting is more impressive. All I've gotta say is fantastic, and as for Redman not being able to reach the partial at the very end, I've been there before and by that time I'm sure his reed had called it quits.

Why is there a random picture of Paul Gonsalves at 3:00?

3:25 joshua quotes a sonny rollins lick from a recording of tenor madness. found it as interesting...

I just asked a professional plate I know who some good "crazy players" were. Coincidentally these were the first two name's he gave me. I always thought I was the only knew who played like that because I've never heard anything so brilliant in my life. from the sound of this performance I think they play two different styles so people shouldn't be saying one smoked the other. However each one does have qualities that appear to be more represented in this video. I was really digging the mid rang
Does anyone else notice that it's James Carter playing at 2:20 and then it switches back to Redman?
