  • Who doesn't like Burns & Allen ? Funny thing was when they started out, she was the straight comedian and he was the funny partner.  Hard to imagine after watching these great episodes.

  • This was a show that ran for nine consecutive seasons on CBS-TV from 1950 until 1959. A lot of great comedy writers were involved with this show...from Paul Henning

    to Aaron Ruben. A lot of innovative techniques were brought to television because of this classic TV sitcom from the golden age.

  • Haven't seen this before. Burns would later address the camera directly in successive shows. Interesting to see the usual formula before turned around.
