Large Fish Caught on Balboa Pier in Newport Beach (Part 3)

A very large fish was caught January 3, 2010 on the Balboa Pier in Newport Beach.

Beach goers believed the fish to be a black sea bass, although it was never confirmed.

i would have harpooned the captain of the boat with my fishing pole if i was on the pier, Cut the poachers line with my knife and tackled, subdued the poacher and until Micheal Rooney HB DFG arrived. ALSO REMEMBER there is a 20% bounty you collect on all fines for poaching just for reporting to DFG

seriously people need to calm down this happens all the time how do you think we get our fishes in the market place i know these are endangered but millions upon millions of fish are killed every year better that they kill one instead of 10
