this is one time where i have to agree with dunphy the english press always puts me off wanting them to win anything cause if they did they'd never shut up about it, like when they won the rugby world cup they wouldnt stop talking about it for about 6 months, same with the cricket, i dont have any problem with the english people fuck if the press just shut up during the whole tournament id probably like to see them do well

@1middlesbrough that wasnt my point it's every fans right to talk about it right up to their grave but the english media do it in a way that it rubs everyone elses noses in it, fair enough if they won and accepted it was down to skill and not their "destiny" to win a tournament, id be applauding like most others would around the world but like i said before i have no problems with england but i cant stand the likes of bbc or itv football coverage when it comes to internationals

@marcusceltic yeah the press are complete idiots and I think they've cost us on various occasions. I think people just have to accept how important football is to England, one can only hope can't they? The way the Irish and the Scottish act like it's a crime really saddens me. You would never turn on MoTD and see Gary Lineker doing this, in fact it would be the opposite. They should cheer up.
