I actually feel the opposite. By the 9th season, I was getting a bit tired of Alexis, everything she did seemed old hat. Sable added new energy to the show.

I love the relationship between Sable and Monica, it was very unlike the mother/daughter relationships on this show, they got along, they bantered and played with each other, plus these two were younger-looking and much prettier in this season.

If Season 8 hadn't happened, and if the last half of Season 7 hadn't been so disatrous, Dynasty most likely would've gone on, and if they had kept on with the way it was written in Season 9...
