SwamiMalai Engal SwamiMalai Siva Shanmugan(Murugan song) by Soolamangalam sisters( with story)

This is another song of Arupadai Veedu album by Soolamangalam sisters. In this song the singer appriciates the character of Lord Murga.
In one occasion Lord Muruga asked Lord Brahmma the meaning of OMKARAM ie PranavaMantram, but Brahmma was not able to tell the meanings of OM Mantram. So Lord Muruga simply put Brahmma in prison and took the charge of Bramma's duty what is called Padaitthal(srishti). At that time Mahavishnu and all Devas had appealed to release Brahmma, but Murugan didn't. So they take the matter to Lord Siva. Lord Siva argued with Muruga .Then Muruga preached the OM Mantram to Lord Siva (although Siva know the meaning of OM mantram). That place is called SwamiMalai situated near Chidambaram.
