I recently sang in a masterclass with Danielle de Niese and was amazed at how down to earth and sweet she was. She gave good advice and had a great amount of insight into the repertoire. I don't always agree with her artistic choices, but I was pleasantly surprised at how gracious she was after hearing so many negative things about her.
If she was really such a diva personality you would think that she would have demanded a better costume.
