Its not soulful as a beat, the sample is Sam Cooke, the King of Soul. You send me was a good choice I think Sam Cooke is one of those artists people do not always acknowledge but he is a pretty decent source for samples, and just happens to be the best soul singer haha. Constructive criticism, the intro was a little sketchy and although the main beat is pretty sick you could throw in some more fills and other tracks to layer it. All in all pretty damn good for a first beat
