Before I get to the game description, I just wanted to say that a Gowin game managed to run on GB Player (which they usually don't) but I couldn't get one of my latest Vast Fame to run on it (which usually does).
Anyway, Magic Lamp is Gowin's attempt at a Megaman-style game, telling the story of a young fisherman named Sata who must escape from an undersea sanctuary using a magic shield. The game is VERY hard; enemies take several hits (even charged shots) before dying, Sata himself is very large and can't jump terribly high, even with a double jump, and the bosses give you little time to avoid their sudden attacks. It's also annoying when you attempt to fire a charged shot and end up using the short-ranged mid-charge attack instead due to letting go of the B button too soon.
This is from the English release of the game. English Gowin titles are pretty rare, even in Taiwan it seems. You can find Chinese Gowin titles pretty easily on sites like Taobao and Ruten, fortunately.
i think the sound driver is Yong Yong :P

The sound driver in this game is nicked from Castlevania 2! Sound effect at 1:55 is a dead giveaway.

I must admit, even if it's hard it looks really cool!
