In Defense of Higurashi Kagome

Defense of the character Kagome. Hopefully this is as good or better than my defending Kikyou video.

When I said that Kagome is the only one to see, sense and purify the shards, I mean out of the regular team. I know Kikyou can do these things.

Unfortunately I didn't have an InuYasha song as long as the actual video. This song was what I picked out for this video.

I love both Kagome and Kikyo. I don't understand why people choose one or the other. If you think about it, they're the same person, just different personalities.

Maybe it's because they're connecting with either Kikyo's or Kagome's love situation with a semi-similar situation in their own lives, and they want themselves (and indirectly their favorite of the two) to win that particular game of love. Of course, I can't speak for everybody, but that's my theory.

Actually it's not a bad theory. Back when I used to visit InuYasha forums a lot a few of the girls did mention idenitifying with one of the girls. Some would put their favorite girl with thier favorite guy. Such as the pairing Sesshoumaru x Kikyou. Of course not everyone is like that because of that reason.

From the way Kagome developed through the anime, we all know that she was able to cope with Inuyasha x Kikyou.

Apparently, Kikyou failed to last through it all but THOSE WHO HAVE READ THE MANGA, noticed that Kagome tried to save her.

Thanks and you're welcome. I wasn't too sure on how good I would do in such a short time. In the manga Kagome is visibly upset that she couldn't save Kikyou.

Takahashi and all the people that worked hard to make her character and the anime. The thing about osuwari (sit) though, is that it was always funny to me when she said it. I think sometimes it was just used alot for comedic purposes. I always got a good laugh from it! :D

I like both Kagome and Kikyo in the end :D

The only time I didn't like Kikyo was when, well when she tried to kill both Inuyasha and Kagome. But I was 12, simplemined, and didn't really think about her situation. I've always wanted to make a defense video for Kagome too! Thank you sooo much, cause she's my favorite character and people get really annoying sometime saying stuff like "why is she always in that short skirt?" and mean things about Kagome, but they're actually insulting Rumiko-

One thing you could have thrown in there is that Kagome and Kikyou share the same soul. That shared soul gives them, virtually, many of the same attributes deep down. The soul running through them is simply filtered through different viewpoints.

to be honest I used to HATE Kikyou, nut I realized how stupid that was xP I really like her now.

And the haters get me pissed off all the time... -__- most haters have ridiculous reasoning and I think most of the female Kagome haters simply hate her for being with Inuyasha *damn jealous fangirls...* It's the same with Kikyou.
