Those were rules imposed on Germany by the allies,specifically the US and UK after WWII. Swastikas vill now be verboten in your country because we's say so! They for some reason forgot to put the Swastika on the rudder... I'm quite sure it had one back in the day. I'm also sure that the old communist planes of today have all the communist insignia pianted on them. Political correctness maybe?
