  • @ameliaj514 It's really hard to explain. I think it's just how certain people's brains are wired. A little bit of everything you said...but mainly I just like the whole process of pressing a button, the doors opening and closing, riding, and watching the door close. It's kinda a weird attraction. I know that some others on YouTube that film elevators have some form of autism, such as aspergers, which might explain why some people like elevators more than others.

  • Oh, I don't think it's weird or anything... I was just wondering if the draw is how they're built or what materials were used; or even the way that the energy changes once the doors close, and the people inside become very still and silent sometimes. I like the really old ones with thick wood paneling, big brass rails and preposterous carpeting.

  • @ameliaj514 Why not? It's just a hobby, and believe it or not there are a lot of people from all over the world that like to film elevators. It's fun! But I understand why people think it's weird. If you aren't interested in elevators, then you'd think a guy is crazy for filming them!

  • Why elevators?
