Final Fantasy IX : Beatrix vs Trance Kuja

For those who are familiar with Final Fantasy IX, you will already know that General Beatrix is an NPC (Non Playable Character). There is only ONE section in the entire game where you briefly obtain Beatrix in your party, and after that she leaves. By utilizing cheat codes via the use of a third party device such as Gameshark, you can permanently add Beatrix to your party for the entire game. There are a few things to note about Beatrix

- She cannot manually equip support abilities via the field menu, her support abilities must be chosen and equipped by the use of cheat codes

- Beatrix's default weapon is the "Save the Queen", and cannot be manually changed. In order to equip different weapons, you must again use cheat codes

- Beatrix cannot trance, hence why she has no trance gauge

Battle Abilities

Beatrix is a Holy Knight aka Paladin, thus she has access to various White Magic abilities aswell as her own unique battle command, knowns as "Seiken", Japanese for "Holy Sword".

- Seiken Abilities

Thunder Slash ~ 24 MP
* A Thunder-elemental attack on a single enemy for 19% damage, (go figure).
While this attack is moderately powerful, it is incredibly flawed with its
accuracy

Stock Break ~ 26 MP
* A strong non-elemental attack on all enemies. This is a great skill to use on
all enemies, as it is very reliable.

Climhazzard ~ 32 MP
* An even more powerful non-elemental attack on all enemies. This is like an
uber-Stock Break attack.

Shock ~ 46 MP
* A devastatingly powerful blow to a single enemy. This is Beatrix's ultimate
sword skill, and it isn't cheap MP-wise.

White Magic Abilities

Cura ~ 10 MP
* Restores +1500 HP, single/multiple target. (Mid-level healing magic)

Silence ~ 08 MP
* Prevents single/multiple targets from casting magic.

Life ~ 08 MP
* Recovers a character from KO, restoring some HP. (Instant Kill on the Undead)

Reflect ~ 06 MP
* Reflects magic attacks back onto the caster.

Full-Life ~ 24 MP
* Recovers a character from KO with full HP. (The only other character to
have this great spell apart from Eiko).

Blind ~ 06 MP
* Causes Darkness, lowering physical attack accuracy.

Esuna ~ 20 MP
* Removes various abnormal status effects. (But not any abnormal Magic Status)

Holy ~ 36 MP
* Causes Holy Damage. Very powerful. (The only other character to have this
apart from Eiko).

Her support abilities must be chosen and equipped via the use of cheat codes. I have no idea why it shows her magic stones as 18/99, in case you're wondering

i remember doing the cheat it messed up my steiner but Beatrix is so amazing wish you could get her as a proper playable character ^_^ if you equip her with a different weapon does the save the queen actually change? cause obviously she hasn't got any other weapons

yes usually her weapon as locked as the Save the Queen but if you use a code along with the corresponding weapon code you want her to equip, she can use other weapons. Her Save the Queen is the weakest weapon in terms of attack but deals 9999 easy for physical attacks, but it's pretty bad for Seiken

@xXRamza126Xx It's a glitch, only happens in the US and JP versions, happens when you get a gold chocobo before the Hilde Garde 3. Or in your case some kind of GS code.
